Stovetop Masala Chai

Our traditional Masala Chai Recipe. Guaranteed to warm the soul :)

Ingredients (makes 2 servings):

  • ½ tsp Anjali's Chai Masala w/ Extra Ginger
  • 12 oz water
  • 4 oz milk (or 4-6 oz vegan milk alternative
  • ∼2 tsp sugar (optional)

Directions:

  1. Add water, milk, Anjali's Chai Masala and sugar to a small pot on the stove.
  2. Bring to a boil and add tea bags 
  3. Simmer or bring back to a boil 1-2 more times until the desired color/strength is achieved. 
  4. Serve and enjoy!

Hot Tip - Make 2 cups even if you're making it for yourself...keep the extra cup in the fridge and reheat or drink chilled over the next day or 2!
