Meet Anjali

Anjali Bhargava founded Anjali's Cup in 2014 (rebranded from Bija Bhar in 2021) with the hope of making turmeric part of consumers' daily habits through authentic, Ayurvedic-inspired drink mixes and spice blends.

Passionate about introducing customers to India's authentic flavors and rituals and driven by her pursuit of balance, health, and wellness, the brand is Anjali's love letter to her ancestors, crafted with reverence and gratitude.

Anjali's reverence for turmeric began in childhood, watching her mother use the golden root to treat everything from colds and upset stomachs to sore muscles, and to help manage an autoimmune issue that Anjali developed when she was eight years old. Decades later, when Anjali began struggling with debilitating migraines, she again turned to turmeric for support. She developed her own recipe, combining turmeric's trusted benefits with the convenience of powder, resulting in a one-of-a-kind product that delivers on turmeric's maximum benefits with a fresh and delicious taste that is suitable for daily consumption. When her migraines disappeared for good within two months, Anjali knew she had created something special, and Anjali's Cup's Resilience® Turmeric Elixir, the brand's signature blend, was born.

Championing authentic representation continues to be a driving force of Anjali's business, with her newest product, Momentum Masala Chai Concentrate. Anjali remained grounded in her commitment to the principles that led her at the beginning of this endeavor, while expanding the reach and applicability of her products.

Decades in the making, Anjali's products are as much her offering as they are her mother's, from whom she learned how to cook and nourish herself with Indian ingredients and rituals. A super-taster, Anjali was taught by her mom to trust her palate at a young age; nevertheless, she continues to work with her mother at each stage of recipe development. Anjali makes these products for everyone, including her family, who consume her products daily for their health and enjoyment. That is why, when it comes to quality, taste, and function, Anjali makes no compromises. The creation of Anjali's Cup is also, in many ways, a celebration of third-culture innovation, reminding everyone of the value of family recipes and long-standing traditions, and of finding ways to continue to enjoy them and integrate them into our ever-changing, busy lives.
