A delicious and healthy snack or dessert - perfect for Autumn 🍂
Ingredients:
- 1 - 1 ½ tsp Anjali’s Chai Masala w/ Extra Ginger
- 4-6 apples
- ½ cup rolled oats
- ½ cup chopped pecans or walnuts
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- A pinch of salt
- 1-2 tbsp sweetener of choice
- 2-3 tbsp butter (or vegan butter or coconut oil)
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C)
- In a bowl, combine the rolled oats, chopped pecans or walnuts, Anjali’s Chai Masala, cinnamon, salt, and sweetener. Mix well.
- Add the butter and combine well, ensuring the butter is evenly mixed throughout, binding the dry ingredients together.
- Cut the tops off the apples and use a spoon or melon-baller to carve out the core, creating an "apple bowl." Note: The number of apples you have stuffing for will depend on the size of the apples and how much is carved out.
- Put the apples into an oven-safe dish and fill them with the stuffing.
- Cook (uncovered) for 30 min.
- Serve with vanilla ice cream or enjoy as is ☺️
