Ginger Chai Stuffed Apples

A delicious and healthy snack or dessert - perfect for Autumn 🍂


Ingredients:

  • 1 - 1 ½ tsp Anjali’s Chai Masala w/ Extra Ginger
  • 4-6 apples
  • ½ cup rolled oats
  • ½ cup chopped pecans or walnuts
  • 1  tsp cinnamon
  • A pinch of salt
  • 1-2 tbsp sweetener of choice
  • 2-3 tbsp butter (or vegan butter or coconut oil)

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C)
  2. In a bowl, combine the rolled oats, chopped pecans or walnuts, Anjali’s Chai Masala, cinnamon, salt, and sweetener. Mix well.
  3. Add the butter and combine well, ensuring the butter is evenly mixed throughout, binding the dry ingredients together. 
  4. Cut the tops off the apples and use a spoon or melon-baller to carve out the core, creating an "apple bowl."  Note: The number of apples you have stuffing for will depend on the size of the apples and how much is carved out.
  5. Put the apples into an oven-safe dish and fill them with the stuffing.
  6. Cook (uncovered) for 30 min.
  7. Serve with vanilla ice cream or enjoy as is ☺️
